Terms of Service
These Terms set out the rules for using skryba.ai, available at https://app.skryba.ai. By using the service you accept them.
Who provides the service
The service is provided by Wondel.ai sp. z o.o., registered in Warsaw, Poland, ul. Twarda 18, 00-105 Warszawa, entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under number 0001029516, NIP (VAT) 5252951298, REGON 524989057. Contact: hello@wondel.ai.
What the service does
The service converts audio recordings into text using artificial-intelligence systems — automatic speech-recognition models. Transcripts are produced fully automatically, with no human involvement. The service lets you edit the transcript, export it to a file and share it with another person by link.
- File size does not depend on your account: you can upload a file up to 5 GB whether or not you have an account and whichever plan you chose. A recording given as a URL is fetched up to 500 MB.
- Without an account: you see part of the transcript, and you can unlock the full transcript of that one recording by buying one-off access — no account needed. An unpaid recording and its transcript are deleted after one day; a paid one is kept for at least 30 days, and you open it in the browser the file was uploaded from. Create a free account to keep the recording and reach it from any device.
- With an account and active access: the full transcript, editing and sharing. File export and the redacted version belong to the paid plans and to one-off access to a recording.
Transcripts are generated automatically and contain errors — accuracy depends on recording quality, the number of speakers, speech rate and terminology. Speaker identification is approximate. We do not guarantee any particular accuracy level and do not replace human transcription where the law requires one. Verify a transcript against the recording before using it in official or court proceedings or in medical records.
The service requires internet access and an up-to-date browser. We may carry out maintenance; we announce planned outages longer than an hour in advance.
Account
Creating an account requires an email address. You create the account with a one-time code sent to that address or with the “Continue with Google” button — you do not set a password. The contract is concluded the first time you sign in either way. An account may be created by an adult or by someone acting on behalf of a business or institution.
Creating an account is free and unlocks nothing by itself. You unlock a recording's full transcript by buying one-off access to that one recording — also without an account, straight from the preview page — or by ordering a subscription or an hour pack. A purchase made without an account is attached to your account the first time you sign in from the browser it was made in.
You are responsible for keeping control of the mailbox and the Google account you sign in with — access to those means access to your account. If you suspect someone has accessed your account, sign out the other devices in settings.
Prices and payments
Current prices for plans, hour packs and single-recording access are shown on the pricing page and — as a final amount including any applicable tax — on the payment page before you confirm it. The Polish version of the service states prices in Polish złoty and the English version in US dollars; both are gross amounts and neither is a conversion of the other. The language version you order in determines the currency. No charge is made without your explicit confirmation: when you order a subscription, you confirm the price and that it recurs until you cancel the subscription.
- A subscription renews monthly and includes a set number of transcription hours per billing period. Unused subscription hours do not carry over.
- One-off access to a single recording costs the number of started minutes of that recording multiplied by the rate on the pricing page, but never less than the minimum amount shown there — both figures are shown before you order. We charge it immediately. Access covers only that one recording — full text, editing, sharing by link, file export and the redacted version — and grants no hours toward any other recording. Bought with an account (or once the purchase is attached to one), access is indefinite; bought without an account, you read the full text right away through the link in the purchase browser, while the remaining features and durable access come with a free sign-in — without it, the recording is kept for at least 30 days.
- Hour packs are one-off purchases; they are consumed after subscription hours run out and do not expire.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time in the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period — until then the service works normally.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Invoices and payment history are available in the billing portal in your account.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, or a sole trader entering a contract not directly related to your professional activity, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason. It is enough to send a statement to hello@wondel.ai.
We do not ask you to waive that right. The service works the moment you pay, and you can still withdraw within 14 days and get the whole amount back — including when you have already used some of the hours you paid for. Nothing is deducted for the minutes used. Earlier versions of these Terms asked here for your express consent to begin performance before the withdrawal deadline and for the acknowledgment that you thereby lost the right (art. 15(3) and art. 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014); we dropped it, because a full-refund guarantee is better for you than what the statute requires.
We refund within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method you used. With the refund, the hours that purchase paid for are removed from the account and one-off access to a single recording that you bought is revoked; any subscription is cancelled. The right of withdrawal attaches to concluding the contract: for a subscription it runs from the moment you order it, and later renewals are performance of that same contract, which you stop by cancelling the subscription in the billing portal before the paid period ends.
Complaints
You can submit a complaint by email to hello@wondel.ai. Describe the problem, give the account email address and — if the matter concerns a specific recording — its name and approximate upload date. We respond within 14 days of receiving a complaint.
If the service does not conform to the contract, you may demand that it be brought into conformity and, where that is impossible or unreasonably burdensome, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract under the Consumer Rights Act.
Acceptable use
- Upload only recordings you have the right to use, and take responsibility for the legal basis of processing them — including informing recorded people where the law requires it.
- Do not upload unlawful content or recordings obtained unlawfully.
- Do not circumvent limits, automate bulk uploading or attempt to load the infrastructure beyond normal use.
- Do not use the sharing feature to send unsolicited messages. The number of shares is capped daily.
- Do not share your account with other people — we will prepare separate terms for teams on request.
A transcript is AI-generated content. If you publish it to inform the public on matters of public interest, you may have your own obligation to disclose that the text was artificially generated (art. 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 — the AI Act), unless the text has undergone editorial review and a natural or legal person holds editorial responsibility for its publication.
We do not routinely review the content of your recordings. We may, however, block access to specific material or an account if we receive a credible report of a breach of law or of these Terms. We notify you by email and state the reason.
Liability
We are liable for improper performance of the service under general rules. We are not liable for the consequences of relying on an unverified transcript, nor for data loss resulting from deletion carried out under the retention period you selected.
Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law, in particular liability for damage caused intentionally.
Your content and our rights
Recordings and transcripts remain yours. You grant us only the licence necessary to perform the service: storing the file, passing it to the speech-recognition provider, generating and storing the transcript, and making it available to people you share a link with. We do not use your content to train models.
The name, logo, interface and code of the service are protected and remain our property.
Ending the contract
You can end the contract at any time by deleting your account in settings. Account deletion is irreversible: we delete audio files, transcripts, shares and account data, except billing documents we are required to retain under tax law.
We may terminate the contract with 14 days' notice and, in the event of a material breach of the acceptable-use rules, with immediate effect, stating the reason. If we terminate, we refund the fee for the unused period.
Disputes
We prefer to resolve disputes without going to court — write to us and describe the matter. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution, in particular mediation at the regional Trade Inspection authorities and assistance from the district or municipal consumer ombudsman.
Polish law governs these Terms. This choice does not deprive a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
Changes to these Terms
We will notify you by email about changes to these Terms at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes you may end the contract before that date — we will refund the fee for the unused period. Every version carries a version number and effective date, shown at the top of this page.
