About skryba.ai

skryba.ai is an automatic transcription tool for Polish and English recordings, built by Wondel.ai sp. z o.o. in Warsaw. It exists for a plain reason: transcribing an hour of audio by hand takes four to eight hours, and the available tools handled Polish noticeably worse than English.

What skryba.ai is

You upload a recording and get text with timestamps and speaker labels. You can correct the transcript in the browser, share it by link and export it to TXT or SRT. A preview of the transcript works without creating an account.

What it runs on

Speech recognition runs on ElevenLabs Scribe, with Deepgram Nova-3 on Cloudflare Workers AI as the fallback. The application runs entirely on Cloudflare infrastructure, and recordings are stored privately on R2 within the European Economic Area.

Who builds it

skryba.ai is run by Michał Jaskólski, founder of Wondel.ai. He is responsible for the product, the code and the writing on this blog.
