Audio to text: AI transcription in minutes

On clear audio — up to 99% of words. Most of it comes down to the sound: a microphone close to the speaker yields text that is nearly ready to use, while background noise, overlapping voices and a weak microphone lower the result. Always double-check proper names and numbers — which is why you correct the transcript directly in the app and can play any turn from its start.

Only you. No human listens to it — the text is written by an AI model at our speech-recognition provider, which receives the file solely to transcribe it. The file is kept privately in Cloudflare R2 and never published anywhere; someone else sees the transcript only if you send them a link yourself. An unpaid recording without an account disappears together with its transcript after 30 days. A paid recording without an account is kept for at least 30 days from purchase; you open it in the purchase browser. Sign in to a free account in that browser to keep access to your purchase indefinitely and use it on other devices. On an account the audio file stays until you delete it — unless you switch on automatic deletion after 1, 7 or 30 days in settings; the transcript stays regardless of that choice.

Yes. The transcript is split into turns with timestamps and speaker labels, so in a conversation between several people you can see who says what and jump back to the exact moment in the recording with one click. In an unlocked transcript you can give the speakers your own names, and the change applies to the whole text.

Practically any audio or video file — if it carries an audio track, we take it. The ones we see most are MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG, Opus, FLAC, AIFF, WMA and AMR on the audio side, and MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI and WMV on the video side; from a video we read the audio track alone, so you do not have to extract it. A file may be up to 5 GB — the same limit without an account and on every plan. A recording pasted as a URL is fetched up to 500 MB, because that path is bounded by our own server rather than by the file size.

No. Upload your recording without an account, see the beginning of the transcript, and only then decide whether to pay for the whole thing — a single recording can be bought without an account too. Short recordings, up to 5 minutes, you read in full straight away.

Recordings up to 5 started minutes are free to read in full, even without an account or a card. With an account the transcript stays with you for good (up to 15 free minutes a day); a recording without an account disappears after 30 days. For longer ones the first 5 minutes are free and you pay once for the whole recording, from $1.50, or use subscription hours. File export and the redacted version are paid.

Yes. The product was built first for natural Polish and also supports English recordings.

Of course. Once the transcript is unlocked, you can correct individual passages directly in the app.

No. For one recording you pay once — $0.15 per minute, minimum $1.50 — even without an account or a card on file. Without an account, you read the full text in the purchase browser and the recording is kept for at least 30 days from purchase. Signing in to a free account in that browser attaches the purchase to your account and gives you indefinite access. A subscription ($12 a month for 4 hours) pays off from 80 minutes of recordings a month, and unused hours stay for 12 months.

Polish and English. You pick the recording language before transcription or leave automatic detection on. The product is built first for Polish — its inflection, punctuation and natural word order.

In practice as long as you like: the limit is file size and it is 5 GB, which holds tens of hours of a typical voice MP3. Exactly how many minutes depends on the file's bitrate, which is why we do not quote a duration. We bill every started minute of recording.

TXT (plain text) and SRT (subtitles with timestamps, ready for video). You can also share the transcript with a secure link instead of sending a file.

Recordings go to private Cloudflare R2 storage and are never published anywhere. In settings you can enable automatic audio deletion after 1, 7 or 30 days — the transcript stays.
