When unlimited wins, and when it does not
The whole difference reduces to one question: how many hours you actually transcribe in a month. Below is the same calculation at several levels of use.

Above ten hours the numbers turn awkward for us, because the top subscription grants 10 hours a month and you cannot buy a second one — the overflow comes from packs at $29.99 per 10 hours. Hence $80 at thirty hours and $290 at a hundred.
So the crossover sits around ten hours a month. Above it, an unlimited subscription is simply better arithmetic and there is no point pretending otherwise. Below it — especially when you record every few months — paying $20 for months with no recordings is waste.
What the price list does not show
- Billing: we sell in złoty with a Polish invoice, which simplifies bookkeeping and VAT for a company in Poland.
- Data storage: recordings sit on Cloudflare R2 within the European Economic Area, and the auto-delete setting removes the audio file after 1, 7 or 30 days while keeping the transcript.
- Judging the quality with no commitment: the transcript preview works with no account and no card, on your own recording.
- Scope: we do Polish and English, not dozens of languages. Two languages are easier to be accountable for.
None of these outweighs $20 against $200 at a hundred hours a month. They are listed because at small and medium volume they usually decide, rather than the rate.
